Who We Are
Lauren Hughes
Principal Consultant, CEO
Lauren Hughes is an award winning brewer from Pittsburgh. She recently designed, executed and developed both a 3.5 and 7bbl brewery from the ground up to meet requirements for load handling, electricity, gas, water, co2, cold storage, grain handling, and two draft systems. Hughes has experience in award winning recipe design, staff management, standard operating procedures for the entire brewery, quality assurance, yeast management and propagation, lab sampling, and production scheduling. During her career she has won awards from World Beer Cup, Great American Beer Festival, and the Indianapolis Brewers Cup. She has received accolades from Hop Culture, Pgh City Paper, Craft Brewers Expo, Beer People, Tribune Review, and the Three Rivers Business Alliance.

COO
Rachel Butler is a PhD prepared health services researcher by day with more than a decade of business and project management experience. She thrives on bringing data-driven, creative solutions to complex challenges and completing projects both on time and within budget.
